Permanent straightening experience

Hello all you lovely people!

First of all, I am really sorry that I haven’t posted in ages, but now, I hope I am back on track and I will be posting more 🙂

Recently I have stumbled upon a product called X-tenso moisturist by L’Oreal. It’s a permanent hair straightener and relaxer. It promises to make you frizzy, thick and curly hair silky smooth. So, since my hair is very thick and frizzy when I blow dry it, I though to myself, I could try it.

I ordered it online. You need to order 2 tubes. One is called “smoothing cream” and the other one is “fixating milk’. It costed around 30euro, but I imagine it can vary depending on the shop and the country.

Before the application, I washed my hair with a regular, clarifying shampoo. (they reccomend the one from L’Oreal, but I used Balea, and it did just as good). Then i towel dried my hair, and applied the smoothing cream to all of my hair. (USE GLOVES, i didn’t and it left my palms real dry). The cream is left in your hair for about 15-20 min, depending on how long and think your hair is. I left it in for 20 minutes. Then I carefully washed my hair with luke warm water. All of the product needs to be wased, so I had to wash it for a good 3 minutes. Then I towel dried it again, and applied the fixating cream. I left it in for 10 minutes, and i was keeping my hair very straight during this process. After 10 minues and washed my hair very well, and the process was meant to be done.

However, I felt like my hair was EXTREMLY dry and wear (and it is usually very resistant to chemicals) so I applied a deep conditioning hair mask.

Despite the fact, that it left my hair quite dry and fragile, they are very smooth and straight after i blowdry it. I don;t even need the big round brush. I just blow dry and then do some touch ups with an iron, to make it flawless.

So, to sum up, I’d say, that I don’t regret doing it, but I wouldn’t recomend it to anyone who’s hair is prone to damage or was very recently bleached. You might end up with chemically burned hair.

Loads of love,

Cotton candy nails

I love my new cotton candy nails. I did them myself, and I am pretty proud of them. It wasn’t very hard, i just used sponge to tap pink and blue nail polish on my nails and blend them.

They are so colourful they make me happy even when I just look at them.

What nailpolish??

Nailpolish guide

I find this guide very helpful, when I have troubles choosing the right nailpolish for certain occasions.

This little guide gives you an idea in which color categories and shades to look around for various events.

Have fun making your precious hands pretty and glamourous.
