Leather Jacket

Hiiii πŸ™‚

It’s kind of sad that the warm sunny summer days are probably definitely over this year, but on the other hand, now it;s time to get all cozy and stuff. I love shopping for autumn/winter clothes like sweaters, scarves, leggings and hats. Not so long ago I purchased an amazing light lime green sweater in H&M. It’s really soft and flowy. Good for layering. I also had my eye on some black leather jacket. I feel like it’s a piece of clothing that is a “must have” in everyone’s closet, and I wanted some really soft one. They had a few that I liked in Mango, but today I found a decent one in New Yorker for an amaaaazing price. Β It was only 30euros. I’m not really sure how long it will last, but I couldn’t not buy it for that price.

I can’t wait to wear it, layer it and be all warm, cozy and stylish in it.

Loads of love,

Lucia

Permanent straightening experience

Hello all you lovely people!

First of all, I am really sorry that I haven’t posted in ages, but now, I hope I am back on track and I will be posting more πŸ™‚

Recently I have stumbled upon a product called X-tenso moisturist by L’Oreal. It’s a permanent hair straightener and relaxer. It promises to make you frizzy, thick and curly hair silky smooth. So, since my hair is very thick and frizzy when I blow dry it, I though to myself, I could try it.

I ordered it online. You need to order 2 tubes. One is called “smoothing cream” and the other one is “fixating milk’. It costed around 30euro, but I imagine it can vary depending on the shop and the country.

Before the application, I washed my hair with a regular, clarifying shampoo. (they reccomend the one from L’Oreal, but I used Balea, and it did just as good). Then i towel dried my hair, and applied the smoothing cream to all of my hair. (USE GLOVES, i didn’t and it left my palms real dry). The cream is left in your hair for about 15-20 min, depending on how long and think your hair is. I left it in for 20 minutes. Then I carefully washed my hair with luke warm water. All of the product needs to be wased, so I had to wash it for a good 3 minutes. Then I towel dried it again, and applied the fixating cream. I left it in for 10 minutes, and i was keeping my hair very straight during this process. After 10 minues and washed my hair very well, and the process was meant to be done.

However, I felt like my hair was EXTREMLY dry and wear (and it is usually very resistant to chemicals) so I applied a deep conditioning hair mask.

Despite the fact, that it left my hair quite dry and fragile, they are very smooth and straight after i blowdry it. I don;t even need the big round brush. I just blow dry and then do some touch ups with an iron, to make it flawless.

So, to sum up, I’d say, that I don’t regret doing it, but I wouldn’t recomend it to anyone who’s hair is prone to damage or was very recently bleached. You might end up with chemically burned hair.

Loads of love,

Lucia
